PUSHTLY, provided by BUYTITUDE LLC, offers live push-to-talk voice. This policy describes the production app and its service.
When you hold Talk, microphone audio is sent through our Railway-hosted relay to your selected person or group. The relay processes live audio in memory and does not intentionally record or permanently store voice messages. Incoming audio can play with your screen locked when Always Ready is on.
The app creates a pseudonymous PUSHTLY ID. Your device stores its identity token, display name, privately assigned nicknames, people, groups, blocks and preferences. Your chosen name is stored on our Railway relay and shown to people you request to connect with and your accepted contacts. Nicknames you give your contacts stay on your own device. If you choose to upload a profile photo, a compressed copy (at most 100 KB) is stored on the Railway relay's persistent volume, and cached on connected people's devices. Your photo can also be viewed by people you send a connection request to. You can remove it in Settings or with Delete PUSHTLY data. Cached copies on other phones are removed when those phones next synchronize; this does not control copies saved outside the app. The relay processes IDs, group rosters, connection status and limited technical network information such as IP addresses to deliver voice and protect the service. Group rosters, pending connection requests and undelivered invitations are stored on the relay until delivered or removed.
Free users may see an idle-screen banner and an occasional full-screen ad at a natural break. We use Google AdMob, which may process device identifiers including the advertising ID, app interaction, approximate location derived from network information, diagnostics and consent choices to provide, measure and protect ads. Depending on your region, you can make or change ad privacy choices in the app. Premium users do not receive PUSHTLY ad requests after their entitlement is verified. Google Play handles subscription checkout and payment details. PUSHTLY sends the Play purchase token and your pseudonymous identity to our server, which verifies the purchase using the Google Play Developer API. We store token and entitlement information to provide Premium and prevent duplicate claims; we do not receive your card number.
You may pause incoming voice, change notification and ad privacy settings, remove people, leave groups, reset your ID, or use Delete PUSHTLY data in Settings. Deleting the PUSHTLY identity removes its group membership, chosen name, uploaded photo and purchase binding from our service, but does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
